The Puebla pavilion at the Tianguis Tourism 2025 celebrates a full agenda that promotes connectivity with other states to be present at the 2026 World Cup in Mexico, as indicated Jaime Raúl Oropeza Casas, Secretary of Economy and Tourism of the state.
He added that Puebla is the sixth most visited city in the country, and that in this 49th edition, which is binational, he pays for Mexico to be placed among the five powers of the world, a goal in which all states join.
“We are very happy to have received that message since the inauguration and as a country we are preparing to host the World Cup next year, which will undoubtedly be very important for everyone,” said the secretary.
In that regard, he said that Puebla is preparing in terms of air connectivity with Monterrey and Guadalajara, as well as in the tourist offer of overnight stays for many fans who will arrive in the country.
“We are sure that we are going to make a high-level tourist offer for visitors who arrive in a city with more than 2,000 buildings considered World Heritage Sites and to enjoy the cuisine of Poblana,” he said.
Oropeza Casas told the newspaper El Momento that their participation in the Tianguis Turística has been good, as they have attended several appointments and continue with a full schedule.
“We continue to make Mexico and Puebla heard in the world,” he concluded.
