The Lacandon Jungle is still in the taste of domestic tourism
La Selva Lacandona busca conectar con el norte del país y mantenerse como destino favorito del ecoturismo nacional.

He said that by having several ecotourism centers where you can descend rivers, hiking, hiking in the jungle, night tours, as well as visiting the archaeological site of Bonampak, they will try to continue to attract the attention of travelers.

He highlighted that the main international market and those interested in nature tourism are France and Spain, while for domestic tourists it is Mexico City, Monterrey and Tijuana.
He revealed that in this Baja California Tourism Market 2025, appointments are already scheduled with around 20 tour operators to be able to make alliances for the purpose of visiting the destination.
Victor Chambór stated that “the Lacandon Forest is considered the second most important lung and climate regulator in the world”.
