The Yucatecan season runs through the streets of Tijuana aboard the Yucatruck

The Yucatan Gastronomic Federation has brought the state's traditional flavor to the corners of Tijuana, as part of the activities leading up to the 2025 National Tourism Festival, through a free tasting of cochinita pibil tacos.

Carlos Guillermo Aguirre Aguilar, president of the Federation, shared in an interview that the response from tourists and locals has been very positive, highlighting the enthusiasm with which they have received the traditional Yucatecan recipe.

Since the so-called Yucatruck, Aguirre Aguilar reported that around 2,500 tacos have already been delivered, and that the goal is to reach 5,000 during the days of the Tianguis Turística in Baja California.

He celebrated the fact that Yucatán is present at events of this magnitude, since they represent a key opportunity to attract more visitors to the state, captivated by its rich cuisine.

He also announced that his participation will continue with the signing of agreements with other allied states, with the objective of strengthening and promoting Yucatecan cuisine throughout the country.
