CREATURISMO strengthens Mexican tourism in the U.S. Department of State with the second stage of the Meet Mexico Road Show 2025

With a strong participation of 169 international buyers, successfully concluded the second phase of Meet Mexico Road Show 2025 in Dallas and Houston, Texas, consolidating the importance of the U.S. market for the development of Mexican tourism.

During this event, tour operators, airlines, wholesale agencies, tourism associations and specialized media they had the opportunity to get to know first-hand the Mexico's diverse tourist offer, strengthen business relationships and open up new business opportunities.

“The excellent response on this second tour shows that there is a strong interest in the U.S. market to continue discovering Mexico. Dallas and Houston represent not only two of the main points of air connectivity to our country, but also markets with high purchasing power and travel frequency. With this tour, we reinforce Mexico's presence and approach our strategic partners effectively and closely”, he said Rodrigo Hurtado, Chief Operating Officer of CREATURISMO.

The format of the road show included destination presentations, product exhibitions and structured networking sessions, generating high value connections between Mexican exhibitors and key players in outbound tourism. Among the most relevant buyers, they stand out American Airlines Vacations, AAA, Spy Travel, BCD Travel, Pleasant Holidays, Frosch and Proland, strengthening the strategic profile of these cities in generating high-impact tourism businesses for Mexico.

This stage continued the successful tour carried out in Chicago and Toronto in August, which brought together 400 international buyers, and precedes the following scheduled stops: San Francisco and Los Angeles (October 7-11) and Montreal and New York (November 10-14). With these efforts, CREATURISMO continues to promote the positioning of Mexico as one of the internationally preferred destinations, in view of the celebration of 50th Touristic Tianguis in 2026, in Acapulco, Guerrero.

During the first stage in Chicago and Toronto they participated 231 buyers, who were able to experience the Mexican tourist offer: adventure, wellness, luxury, magical towns and world-renowned cuisine. The activities included strategic presentations, product exhibitions and structured networking, generating new business alliances with high potential for the arrival of international visitors. Among the leading companies, they participated Travel 100 and Internova Travel Leaders Group in Chicago, and West Jet and SUNWING in Toronto.

“The enthusiasm shown by buyers in both markets reaffirms Mexico's position as a priority destination in the United States and Canada. This first stop leaves us with very positive results and great expectations for the next matches”, said Rodrigo Hurtado.

The tour is part of the international promotion strategy for CREATURISMO Heading to 50th Tianguis Turistico 2026, with the following venues scheduled:

  • Dallas + Houston | September 9-13
  • San Francisco + Los Angeles | October 7-11
  • Montreal + New York | November 10 to 14

With this momentum, Mexico continues to consolidate itself as one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the world, strengthening the sector's value chain and consolidating new business opportunities for the domestic industry.
